PhD SCHOLARSHIPS
FLiQC PhD scholarships offer a genuinely distinctive research experience. You will work at the frontier of quantum computing, tackling real technical challenges in algorithms, architectures, or devices, while gaining the industry skills, professional networks, and career agency to lead in this fast-moving field long after you graduate.
This is not a conventional PhD. FLiQC candidates are embedded in a national research community spanning five universities and thirteen partner organisations. They undertake industry placements, engage with policy and commercialisation, and graduate as confident, career-ready quantum leaders, not just researchers.
About the Scholarship
FLiQC PhD scholarships are offered through the Sydney Quantum Academy as part of the Future Leaders in Quantum Computing Scholarship program.
Scholarships provide financial support for the duration of your candidature alongside access to the full FLiQC training and professional development program, including industry placements, mentorship, leadership training, and access to world-class quantum research infrastructure across our five university nodes.
