About Aruna

Aruna completed her Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Physics at the University of Sydney, where her passion for physics, first sparked in high school, continued to grow. During her undergraduate studies, she worked across several of the University’s quantum laboratories, gaining hands-on experience that strengthened her interest in the field and inspired her to pursue a career in quantum research.

Current Research Journey

Now in the early stages of her PhD, Aruna is beginning to immerse herself in her research. She has been spending time in the laboratory, shadowing members of her research group, learning about ongoing experiments, and developing her understanding of the techniques involved.

Alongside this practical experience, she has been engaging with the scientific literature and discussing key papers with her team, laying a strong foundation for the work ahead as she progresses in her research career.
