About Xanthe

Dr Xanthe Croot is an experimental physicist and Director of the Superconducting Quantum Circuits Laboratory. Her research focuses on superconducting and hybrid semiconductor-superconducting platforms for quantum computing, with particular interests in protected qubits, spin-based quantum information, and hybrid quantum devices.

She completed her PhD at the University of Sydney in 2018, where she worked on semiconductor spin qubits. She subsequently joined Princeton University as a postdoctoral Dicke Fellow, conducting research on hybrid semiconductor-superconductor quantum computing platforms and novel protected qubits in superconducting circuits.

Her research aims to develop robust and scalable quantum hardware, advancing the next generation of quantum computing technologies through innovations in superconducting circuits and hybrid quantum systems.
